Luis Jaramillo Mendoza, MD., obtained his medical degree at the “Universidad de Guayaquil” on 1979. There after, did his post-graduated studies at the “Centro Médico Nacional del Instituto Mexicano de Seguridad Social” (1983 – 1986), gaining his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical degree, mention endorsed by the “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México”. In 1986, he was approved by the Mexican Council of Plastic Surgery. Then he pursued a three month observership for his training in Aesthetic Surgery at the “Instituto de Ciencias Plásticas de Jalisco” (Guadalajara – México), under the supervision of Jose Guerrerosantos, MD.

Through 1986 – 1987, Dr. Jaramillo did his fellowship in Craneomaxilofacial Surgery at the Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery Service at “Hospital Dr. Manuel Gea González”, under the direction of Fernando Ortiz-Monasterio, MD and Antonio Fuente del Campo, MD.

Dr. Jaramillo has attended several national and international seminars and medical congresses, reviewing topics regarding: breast aesthetic, facial lifting (rejuvenation),  eye-lid ptosis, endoscopic facial surgery, breast-reconstruction surgery, body-contour surgery, nasal-aesthetic and –reconstructive surgery, craneomaxilofacial-bone surgery, maxilofacial fixation, etc.

Has also been invited as lecturer, for many topics related to his specialty. Has worked as associate physician for several town-hospitals. Today, he works as an associate craneofacial plastic surgeon for the otolaryngology service at “Hospital Luis Vernaza de Guayaquil” - Ecuador. Additionally, he is associate professor at the fellowship of plastic and reconstructive surgery being held at the “Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil”.

Since 17 years ago, he´s being attending his private practice mostly having patients regarding aesthetic surgery conditions.

Just 5 years ago, he founded the Aesthetic-Surgery Private Clinic, which has the most modern medical supplies and equipment, in order to bring a quality service added with safety and comfortable prices.
